Wayne Favell

A British national who has worked in Asia for 17 years, Wayne exhibits true entrepreneurial flair having conceptualized, established and run businesses in Hong Kong, Thailand, China and the Philippines in a diverse array of international trading businesses. During his time in Asia, Wayne has acquired considerable experience in the international procurement of products and services spanning import-export, construction, entertainment, seafood and beverage distribution.  Born and trained in the UK, he now provides consulting services to a number of businesses in the Philippines whilst establishing Thistle’s core business activities

James R.F. Donald

A qualified Chartered Accountant from Scotland with over 20 years experience at a senior level in finance, operations and administration, Jim has worked in positions of financial control and operational oversight in the UK, Washington DC and Boston in the U.S., Hong Kong, Japan and Vietnam, the last 15 years of which were at a Board level.  He trained and qualified with KPMG in 1986 before moving to industry, consulting and finance.  He was Head of Investor Relations for the Royal Bank of Scotland plc and spent 8 years in the fund management arena.  He has considerable experience in establishing new and successful businesses both in Europe and Asia.
